A "visual dataset" is a set of neuroimaging data files in ChRIS intended for public display.

Files are typically organized hierarchically in folders. However, in a ChRIS visual dataset (ChVD) files can be found by tags instead. A tag is a key-value pair describing the contents of a file. For example, tags can be type=mri, contrast=t1, contrast=t2, author=kiho, ...
